How do you deal with someone that you are dating that can not easily express there feelings easily? What do you do?

Its all about timing. Some people think that they express how they feel through their actions and that you shouldn’t question it if they do so. However, from previous experience, its all about open dialogue. That person has to be comfortable not only with you but also themselves to open up to you. If you care about the person then you will wait. I’ve learned from waiting it out and working with them that eventually you’ll get what your seeking. Everything doesn’t come easily as some people would like but if its worth it then you’ll wait.

It (to me) should be a natural thing. Everything should fall into place. From the “Hello” to the “Arguments” You should feeling comfortable with the person your dating. Even if it ends up as just friends. If they can’t open up. You have to talk about it. It could be something that you or they are doing to make you that way OR it could be something that has nothing to do with you at all. They have to share something any little bit that they feel like sharing. In the beginning thats understandable your just getting to know each… Read more »
Amanda, Yes, if you are dating for about 6 months and STILL don’t know anything about each other because they can’t open up, then I would say bye too! But thats just me, I have a very small tolerance! *Kanye Shrug*

I would try to have my soulmate open up and make her feel comfortable. I would try to support her and encourage her. Show compassion and empathy. Being frustrated would turn any soulmate off.

Idk, that’s a hard one. I’ve recently been in that situation and I couldn’t stand it. Not being able to understand her feeling or even more, not communicating to me her feelings turned out to become a huge hindrance every time we spent time with one another. Dating to me is not something set in stone so, in the circumstance that you’re addressing, I subtly transition the dating thing in to a friendship thing. Maybe not the best method but I am not a fan of wasting my time, especially if I know the relationship is not going to be… Read more »
