In my twenties I started to focus on skincare. My goal is to be proactive instead of reactive. I learned about Tata Harper a few years ago at Sephora, when I was looking for a oil control & acne moisturizer. I was recommended Tata Harper, a luxurious clean skincare line and I have been hooked ever since. A fun fact about Tata Harper is that she grows on her farm everything she puts in her products. How cool is that! The best part is that Tata Harpers products are non-toxic, free of harsh chemicals, and handmade with some really amazing ingredient. Lets start with the clarifying line and why I chose it (pictured above):
- Clarifying Cleanser: Balances oil for clear matte skin. The cleanser smells amazing, has a water like consistency, and little goes a long way. My skin feels clean and looks matte after I use it. It is not stripping or drying to my skin at all!
- Clarifying Moisturizer: Blemish and Oil Control Moisturizer. I use it for those reasons exactly. It has a citrus smell and I only use one pump.
- Clarifying Mask: This mask has salicylic acid in it which targets acne. I have not used it yet.
Recently, they had a sale on there minis and lets just say I went nuts! I deserved a treat and I wanted to invest in myself! I bought a ton of things for myself and my mom! Lets be honest this skincare line is expensive and potent, so I only use them about twice a week unless I have a breakout. I have been using them for a few months now and I love the way my skin is glowing and clear!
After using the products here are a few things I learned:
- Fragrance: Everything has a smell and it smells beautiful! I loooove the way the Clarifying Cleanser and the Nourishing Cleansing Oil Smell the best!
- Storage: I keep my items in the fridge for longevity.
- A little goes a long way! Seriously! I’ve had these items for months now and I’m still not out…and these are just the minis!
- Water Lock Moisturizer: Best for roughness, uneven texture & Dryness.
- lluminating Eye Creme: This eye cream has real diamond dust in it for an illuminating effect! How cool & luxurious is that! The eye creme is best for fine lines, dryness, & dark circles.
- Creme Rich Moisturizing Cream: Anti-aging peptide night cream. This is a thick creme best for dry, mature skin.
- Rejuvenating Serum: An anti-aging serum for early signs of aging. I really like this serum. I want to use it more before I give my final thoughts.
- Hydrating Floral Essence: If you’re like me you have no idea what an essence is or what it does. Essentially an essence helps with the absorption of products that you put on your skin. This is the first essence I have used and I have to say I think it makes a difference. The hydrating floral essence has hyaluronic acid and natural humectants, which plumps the skin. I use it right after the cleanser while my skin is still damp. Best for dryness, fine lines and wrinkles.
- Nourishing Oil Cleanser: My favorite makeup removing oil period. This is a vitamin infused makeup remover that smells amazing! I will have a tutorial coming soon on how to use this. It can be used as a cleanser if you have dry skin.
- Resurfacing Serum: Online they describe this as a starter serum. It’s a Brightening Vitamin C + AHA/BHA which gives you a beautiful glow.
