I am so excited! While shopping at Nordstrom online I discovered I had a $20 note and headed right toward the beauty section. I have had my eye on Gucci Beauty for some time now and that was the day I was going to purchase it. I could not wait for it to arrive so I could try on my new Gucci Beauty lipstick in the shade 404 Cassie Magenta and all of my luxury fragrance samples.
Gucci Beauty Cassie Magenta
This lipstick is something I wanted to try as soon as Gucci revealed they were coming out with beauty. It retails for $42 but I paid $22 using my $20 Nordstrom note ($20 off coupon). You guys this lipstick was worth the wait! It is pigmented, buttery, and gorgeous. The packaging is stunning and it smells good. Le Labo Santal 33
When you purchase beauty items at Nordstroms or Sephora you always get free samples. Well one thing I do is wait to purchase (if the item is something I know that won’t sell out) until they have some samples of something I’ve been wanting to try. One of those things is Le Labo Santal 33. I have heard so much about this fragrance so when I saw it was one of the samples at Nordstrom I had to grab it. With its warm and spicy notes I can see this being more of a fall or winter scent. If you like strong and powerful scents this is for you!
Tom Ford Rose Prick
Tom Ford makes one of my favorite winter fragrances called Tabacco Vanilla. It’s a very warm, strong, and musky scent, with hints of vanilla and tobacco (hence the name lol). However, this floral scent is light and airy! As soon as I sprayed it I said “oooooou this smells great!”. After I read the description of the fragrance they used the words “sharpe and pristine” and that is the perfect description. You smell it as soon as you spray it and it’s such a clean & crisp smell. I normally stay away from rose scents but this smells amazing. I can see myself buying the travel size of this fragrance. I don’t fly through my fragrance so the travel size is both the right size and price.
Chanel Fragrance Sample Pack
This Chanel sample pack was really cool to me because she doesn’t give out samples much. So more than anything I was curious to see what was inside. In the pack came 5 cards describing each scent with a little pouch of fragrance in it. It is just enough for a single use but it’s a really nice way to see what all the Chanel fragrances smell like. The fragrances in the pack are: Gabrielle, Coco Mademoiselle, Chance, Bleu de Chanel, and N’5.
