Hi Ladies n’ Gents,

How she wants to look: Natural with a twist…

Since sooooo many people are getting married I will be posting on Fridays wedding makeup tips n’ tricks! Please feel free to share some insight as well in the comment box! N e who, after receiving the questionnaire back from my client Kimberly she requested the following:
 

“How do you want to look?” Natural With No Foundation…Initially when I saw this I thought…hmmmm this will be interesting lol! I have never had someone request no foundation before. After meeting up with her n’ asking her questions like: Are you allergic to foundations? Do you not like the way they look on your skin? I discovered that she did not like the way it looked!  From her past experiences she said she looked…”CAKEY”, that is like a makeup artists KRYPTONITE!!!

 

She had AMAZING skin! First I assessed the areas that I felt would need the most makeup. Oh one thing I forgot to highlight was oil/shine! I knew I would need to Mattify her skin! I use Makeup Forevers All MAT

 

For Dark circles I am LOVING Bobbi Browns Correctors I used Dark Peach! When researching how you should apply the correctors, it is recommended to put on a thick layer under the eyes (which I do), conceal n’ to not put foundation on top of it!  However, I do! I love the way it looks n’ it gives you MORE Coverage!

For the dark spots, after you add the foundation conceal in the areas necessary…

However, feeling confident in my ability n’ sharing my slogan with her “I enhance your NATURAL beauty” she was more at ease n’ willing to try foundation. I shared with her that the foundation is necessary for photos n’ that I will put very little on her…

She n’ I were very happy with the result of her makeup! I loved how her makeup looked just like her skin! The trial was successful n’ she booked me for her wedding! Yay!  So don’t forget to share your tips n’ tricks too!
