E.L.F 100 Piece Eyeshadow Palette Review

Hi Ladies n’ Gents,

I have had this palette about two weeks now but I really wanted to take my time n’ give a thorough review! I have things that I love about this palette n’ other things not so much…

For some shadows you have to use the actual applicator that comes with the set. I have noticed that I have to apply some pressure in order to get the color to show up on the sponge applicator that way it will show up on my skin!
Some colors come out better a little wet (some shimmer n’ dry shadows)
Some colors are very pigmented (mostly the shimmery shadows)

Bases: I tried both UDPP n’ NYX Jumbo pencil in Milk…For my skin tone, I need them both on especially for the light shades in this palette. I tried a look using only the UDPP, see how it turned out here!

While trying out different makeup looks I used a variety of brushes. On my M.A.C 239 n’ 217 brushes (excuse them they are a little dirty lol), the color didn’t pick up so good for some colors…I noticed even for the very pigmented colors I would have to pack on the color (using the sponge applicator it comes with) so when I used my 217 brush to blend it, the color would not dust the color away….

Over All, I give the product a B+
Add To My Kit: Nope! I want to keep it for myself to play around with n’ use! It’s my creative palette/artist wheel! LOL
Pigmentation: Pretty Good

Looks like a great palette, but it’s one of those things you get what you pay for…
