There are a few points in my video that I want to make sure that are clear:
1. Youtube used to be a place that was unpolished. People were just people who put out content for fun. It wasn’t to look and be perfect
2. Youtube used to be fun! It was a place where true makeup lovers would go and hangout! There was another forum called Spektra! Y’all remember that?
3. There is nothing wrong with sponsored content done right! When people let you know it is paid. I think of them as commercials. Well unless the whole video is about it. Once you know it’s paid use your judgment even more than if it’s not sponsored.
4. I miss the days when people were honest about products and reviews were more genuine
5. To me if someone is getting paid to talk about something it will be positive. Whether the influencer believes it themselves or not! They aren’t going to talk down on the product. If anything negative is said it will most likely be something small like the packaging or the smell.
