Make Up For Ever January 2012 Haul

Hi Ladies n’ Gents,

I took some time to use n’ play around with these products before I actually made a post about them. I made the video as soon as I received them because I was so excited get them however my excitement has dwindled a little…

Lets begin with the products I love like my crown jewel…THE brush belt n’ it’s the best thing since sliced bread! There are three folds, one for tissues, phones, ect. The middle fold is for the brushes, n’ the third fold is for sponges, powder puffs, shadows n’ more! I am in love with this brush belt n’ it totally makes me look n’ feel more professional!

Next is the wonderful ALL MAT! I use this product for my oily clients! What I love about this is it wears for hours n’ it makes the skin look beautiful. I would normally use this product after my clients face was washed, moisturized, n’ primed…

Next is my Spatula! I love the two headed ends which can be used for all kinds of different purposes. I use the flat edge to get out the correctors in the camouflage palette, scooping out pigments, n’ ect. I use the round edge to get out foundations however both sides can be used interchangeably. I just feel the spatula adds to your professionalism n’ looks better than you sticking a q-tip or the end of a skinny makeup brush to get things out of containers…

Now for the infamous MUFE HD Foundations, I wanted to try these sooooooooooo bad n’ I read so many reviews about them. Welp! Ladies n’ Gents, I got my taste of these foundation n’ I must say I like them so far. I choose the darkest color 183 n’ a medium carmel shade 170 to start. I know if needed I can mix these to colors to create a custom shade for someone (which I did, just eyeball how many pumps of each color to create that perfect shade. I used more of one n’ less of the other in order to get the perfect color…n e who on that later, lol).

The next product I bought n’ love is the This Artificial Blood. I bought this because I was doing some abused n’ battered style makeup. In case you are wondering it does not have a smell that I recall. I was told that if you put castor oil or baby oil on top of the blood then it would work but I didn’t n’ it should up great! (Pic coming soon if I can find my camera 🙁 ) Oh yeah…If you don’t want the thick blood they offer thin blood n’ coagulated blood which is the clotted chunky blood.

The Translucent Powder is the only product that I have not tried out 100 %. I will try it out n’ update this post on a later date! However, this products purpose is to set your foundation, concealer, or etc that you put on n’ you like the way it looks as is. Add a little translucent powder to set it n’ it should look exactly the same instead of adding a colored powder on top. I am excited to try this out n’ I am hoping it does not look ashy or weird lol.

Now…on to the product that disappointed me…

I have wanted this Camouflage Palette  for over a year now n’ I was so excited to have a corrector for my clients. Welp! you guys maybe it is something I am not doing correctly but I am not liking the consistency of this product. I tried warming it up on my hand, petri dish, etc n’ it cakes up. I was optimistic when I warmed it up on my hand it gave me that creamy consistency I was looking for; but when I applied it to my clients skin it clumped up on me. If you guys have n e tips on how I can better utilize this product please let me know because I really want it to work.
