Self expression is a form of self care and I have been focusing on me! I can’t serve from an empty cup and doing things that make me happy is so important. I encourage you to do the same. Put down the baby, put the work away, the dishes can wait and go create! Go do something for yourself! Go make yourself feel good! My best friend and I were talking about how as new moms life can be a lot. Our convo reminded me of what I told myself before I had my son “Always make time for yourself and never be bashful when you need help!”. I subscribed to magazines and a beauty subscription box to remind myself of this before I had him! So in my free time I can read the magazine or play with my new makeup! It’s so easy to get caught up in family and forget about yourself. So no matter whether it’s a shower or 10 mins I put aside time for ME…for my sanity! I encourage you to do the same!
