I agree COMPLETELY with John. I end friendships over lying as well.

You have to confront someone who lied to you. You can’t let that go or else guys or gals will continue to do the same. I would warn them if you lie to me again, I would end my friendship or relationship with them.
Confront, interrogate, question, I do it all! Lol. I try to approach others as I would want to be approached with a situation. I personally don’t like to be lied to, its a real big pet peeve of mine. If you lie to me then I feel as though I cant trust you, then Im second guessing everything you say. Once you lose my trust, its hard to come back from it. I too myself try to make it a habit not to lie to others, its just bad…all bad! Lol.

I believe that it matters on the situation and frequency.
I also am very slow to call someone out on a lie because they might not necessarily know that they are telling a lie…another story.
As it comes to confronting, my manner of bringing it out is usually very subtle and kind. People will usually become offensive or even lie more if they are harshly confronted not only about a lie, but any wrong that they’ve done.
idk, just my view about it.
