QofD: Was It EVER A Mistake?

Hi Ladies n’ Gents,

Someone asked me this question and I thought it would be a great question to ask you guys.

Is something still considered a mistake if you do it more than once?

if you do a mistake more than once. its because you didnt learn!!! its take me a couple of times before i learn something. it seems like i am a sucker for pain.

Practice makes perfect! Thats why I don’t consider it being a mistake if repeated more than once. You learn by your mistakes so I guess you don’t repeat the same thing over and over again, you try improving it the next time, try NOT to make the same mistake again and if it doesn’t work, you try again. After all, where would we all be, if we wouldn’t try fixing the mistakes we make once, twice, even three times? For example if you fail an exam on a university, you go for it again, don’t you? If you consistently make the same error, of course, it’s a mistake. When you make a bad decision, I consider it a trial and error, which you learn from it and not do it again next time. You keep doing the same thing, then yeah it’s a mistake.

Idk, maybe. If someone had done something once and then attempted to not do whatever that thing was again, and did it again unintentionally, i think i can still be considered a mistake….if that made any sense. lol

i think it all comes down to motives. if you didn’t intend to do something, but you end up doing that something, i believe that is a mistake….maybe. idk lol
