Yes you read correctly that the iconic Jet Magazine has gone digital! So what does that mean for your gmas n’ paws that don’t use the internet? Time to show them how n’ get a tablet! To be honest, I am quite surprised that they have gone fully digital. My family still has the magazines dating back to the EARLY 70’s. So please continue to support the legacy of Jet Mag! As we are a digitally driven generation this is a gold mine, we are ALWAY S on our phones so this is perfect. I know when I am traveling this will help lighten my load of books n’ magazines…Just a quick excerpt from the press release:
“CHICAGO, (June 30, 2014) —Today, Johnson Publishing Company (JPC), launched its new JET magazine app. The app replaces the printed edition of the magazine. The new digital magazine app will add fresh content on a weekly basis, every Friday. Readers will be entertained by 3D images, video interviews, enhanced digital maps, audio content and photography from the JPC archives. The app will be available on all tablet and mobile platforms. There will be a free introductory offer of 30 days for all subscribers.”
I just downloaded my trial HERE….I do intend on supporting the magazine after the trial as my family has been supporters for over 30 years. Jet Mag is something I want my (#imaginary, #30 years from now, #Igotawhile) Children to read 🙂
